FAQs

  • You've moved around a lot in your career. Are you a job hopper?

Not at all. For a significant part of my career, I followed my husband’s career, which required frequent relocations. This was before remote work was widely accepted, so to keep my marketing career moving forward, I took on contract work and diverse roles that allowed me to grow professionally.

Additionally, I’ve worked through multiple company acquisitions, downsizings, and industry shifts—including the widespread layoffs caused by COVID. Through all these transitions, I stayed positive, adapted quickly, and always landed in the perfect role for that time. My varied experience has made me resilient, adaptable, and highly skilled across industries, marketing channels, and business models.

  • You’ve worked primarily in healthcare. Can your experience translate to other industries?

Absolutely. While a large part of my career has been in healthcare, pharma, and life sciences, the marketing principles I’ve mastered—strategic storytelling, brand positioning, demand generation, and digital marketing—are universal across industries.

One of the biggest advantages of my healthcare marketing background is my deep understanding of compliance and regulatory challenges. In industries like finance, SaaS, and highly technical B2B markets, compliance plays a major role in how companies engage with their audiences. I know how to navigate strict regulations while still delivering compelling marketing that drives results.

Additionally, healthcare marketing demands precision, credibility, and the ability to simplify complex information—skills that directly translate to industries like technology, consulting, and professional services. Whether I’m working with scientific data, legal frameworks, or cutting-edge technology, I know how to craft messaging that is clear, impactful, and compliant.

  • Your experience leans more toward B2B marketing. Can you handle B2C as well?

Absolutely. While the majority of my career has been in B2B marketing, the reality is that in both B2B and B2C, the target audience is still a consumer. Whether it’s a physician evaluating a medical device, a procurement manager selecting a software solution, or a patient choosing a healthcare provider, the decision-making process is ultimately driven by human behavior, emotions, and needs.

The key difference in B2B marketing is that you’re often marketing to multiple stakeholders at once, which actually makes it more complex than B2C. In a B2B environment, I’ve had to craft messaging that resonates across different decision-makers—from end-users to executives—while managing longer sales cycles and regulatory considerations.

At the same time, I understand how to simplify complex topics, build engaging brand narratives, and create multi-channel marketing strategies that drive action—skills that translate seamlessly into both B2B and B2C environments.

I’m comfortable navigating both, and I know how to adapt marketing strategies to fit the buying process, whether it’s an individual consumer or a multi-person decision-making team.

  • Have you managed teams, or do you mostly work solo?

I’ve done both. I thrive in leadership roles—building teams, mentoring talent, and driving strategic initiatives. I’ve also been highly successful as a self-starter, executing complex projects independently.

What matters most to me is being in an environment where I can collaborate, solve problems, and create marketing that makes an impact—whether leading a team or rolling up my sleeves and doing the work myself.

  • Are you open to remote work, hybrid, or in-office roles?

I prefer to work in a remote role but am fully available to travel on-site when needed for meetings, events, or team collaboration.

Throughout my career, I’ve worked seamlessly across multiple time zones—both coast to coast and globally. I’m highly adaptable and able to accommodate just about anyone’s schedule, regardless of location.

Remote work has been a natural fit for me because I have the discipline, communication skills, and leadership experience to thrive in a virtual setting. That said, I understand the value of in-person collaboration and am always willing to be where I need to be to get the job done.

  • Do you prefer contract work, or are you looking for something permanent?

I’ve had a mix of both throughout my career, depending on the opportunities available at the time. While contract roles gave me the chance to gain diverse experience and drive impactful projects, my ideal role is a long-term position where I can build, lead, and contribute to lasting success.

I’m at a point in my career where I’m looking for stability and an opportunity to make a real impact within a team for the long haul.
